I have information on John Chain,son of William Chain. I have John Chain married to a woman named Isabelle (maiden name of Isabelle I don't know). I don't have record of any Alexander Chain. William Chain and his wife Margaret had nine children of which John was 1st or 2nd oldest. William Chain is believed to possibly come over from Ireland (that has not been verified) in the 1780's most likely as he was naturalized as an American citizen in the late 1780's. William Chain settled in Fayette County, PA and died there in 1818. I have his and his wife's "Last Will and Testament.
