Looking for Chaisson brothers in SW Louisiana

I'm looking for the parentage of two brothers who lived in the Lafayette/ St Martin Parishes of Louisiana. Their names were Louis and Basile Chaisson. I have not been able to find a marriage of Basile but Louis was married first to Monique Comeaux and second to Anne Marie Thibodeaux. Family story says that they immigrated to Louisiana from Martinique, but I have not been able to prove this. Who were these brother's parents and where did they really come from. Thanks for your time.
