Hello,

My maiden name was Chaisson. My father John Chaisson was never a part of my childhood so I don't know a whole lot about him. I am interested in finding out anything I can about the "Chaisson" side of my family. I know he was born in Conn. and had 2 sisters--both sisters were older than my father. Also he had a cousin (male) that was orphaned at a young age and grew up with him. In Florida, my father had an affair and fathered 2 children out of wedlock in the early '60's, so somewhere I have a half brother and sister that I have never met. I don't suppose I will ever find them as it is doubtful that they took my father's last name.
