Was Simon Peter Chambers the father of your James Chambers? I have a James Chambers, son of Simon Peter Chambers, who moved to either Arkansas or Oklahoma from Wilkinson County GA about that same time period. My James had a sister, Nancy, who married William Jackson of Washington Co. GA--The family also has an Asa and a Franklin. If any of this ties in with your Chambers, please let me know and I will share other information.
