I am searching for my great grandfather Jacob Louis Chamlee He was in Logan Co. Arkansas in 1905 with his wife Arinta (Minnie) Lemon Chamlee and their children Henry Melton Chamlee, Bertha May Chamlee and Fanny Chamlee.
His wife passed away in Seymour Texas in about 1915. He placed the three by then girls up for adoption and headed west. In 1918 Jacob wrote his sister in law Delia Needham that he was in El Paso Texas and that he did not think he would live. There is no record of either his death or his wifes in Texas.
I don't have much information on him but am desperately searching. Any lead will be appreciated.
