I don't know if you can give me any information on the ones I am looking for or not. My husband's grandfather John Tyler or Tylar Chamblee is in the Issac ,Zadock,James,Elias,Rudolphus L, line. I have hit a dead end with the John Tyler Chamblee line. They were in Alabama in 1910 in Hartselle Al. and in the 1920 Cencus and after that they sort of disappered. I have been unable to find a marriage record for them or birth records on them or cemetary"s where they were burried. I can't find out who the mother was before she married. I do know that John T. was born in Morgan Hill Ga. in 1880 to Rudolphus L Chamblee and then they all moved to Ga. by1900's. That John T. got married sometimes between 1900 where he was listed as living at home with his folks in Oakville,Lawrence Co. Al. So between 1900 and 1910 he had married and lived in Hartsville ,Morgan,Al. He was married to a lady named Pendolie or Pendole and had two daughters, Jane N. and Savorah E. Savorah E was my husbands mother. She married a Willie T. Meeks in Tx. and died in 1930. My husband didn't know his grandparents very well as he was 8 yrs. old when his mother died. He remembers she had 2 sisters and 2 brothers. They were Dolphus,Sylvester,Nell, and Julia Belle. I have been unable to trace any of them. He said he remembers Julia Belle and Dolphus comming to stay with them for a few months at the time that his mother died and that his Grandmother came one time about 1927. He thinks his Grandfather and
Grandmother died as well as Nell and Sylvester before 1930. He thinks that the only ones still alive were Julia Belle and Dolphus at that time. I do know that Julia B.and Dolphus were living with a family named ,O.C.Smith in Lawerance Co. Al. in 1930 as Boarders and Farm Labor. Julia Belle was then 15 and Dolphus was 19 yrs. old. If you know anything about this family or where they might be burried please let me know. You can e-mail me at
