Hi Cameron
No, I don't have a family tree posted to Ancestry and won't be posting one there. I wrote a book on the family for the reunion, just for family members, and keep sending out the Addendi for additions.
William Chamney, 1832-1911, was definitely William & Jane's son. John Chamney & Fanny Ledwich didn't marry till 1848. William's baptism was at Glenealy and the parents were clearly stated as William & Jane. John Chamney, born circa 1812, was the s/o Graves Chamney Graves & Elizabeth Massey. (Yes, Graves had Graves as a surname too! He took the Graves surname in accordance with the will of his uncle. Strange but true!)
John was a descendant of John Chamney, 1650-1733, and Jane Bacon while our branch was most likely descended from John's brother, Edward, 1658-1725. He's buried at Tykillen, Co Wexford and we're to be visiting his grave in August during the reunion. A third brother was Christopher, 1662-1729 but he is known to have had only daughters.
Out for a walk. Then into Heidelberg for the day.
Cheers
Deb
