Lewis Sale directed me to North Hinskey and East Hendred to try and back-track my Champs further and there are possibilities perhaps with Ric Champe who had a son John Champe born 1629 in East Hendred. I found Ric's possible wife on Richard Champe's marriage in East Hendred 1628. Her name being Marie Titcome.

The missing link may lie between this John Champe and the John Champ of Sunningwell who married Dorothy Whiting in North Hinskey on 30 Jan 1674 close to Sunningwell where the family line seems to follow.

Hope the Martha is of some help, I think there were parents and I am sorry I can't recall your dates offhand. Or hopefully it may help someone else.
