Dear Philip,
I am glad you wrote back.
I had guessed you live in England. Grandma Nan ( Annie ) may have mentioned English relatives but I remember little from age 12.She certainly loved all things British. Flew the Flag too.
I have made copies of your document and your letters for my mother to see.
I was glad to see photographs of Coolegegan. Mine are from late 10's to early 20's. Same position.
Apparently Nan and her daughter, Aunt Betty sailed on QEII in the late 60's to deal with property issues for Coolegagan.
Did all the cousins have to do that ?
Were there still debts?
Do you have better ones? Your grandmother was beautiful. She looks nothing like Annie Champ though.Your Grandmother and Is
aac are similar-looking.
Her life was tragic and filled much hardship. It is so sad.
Do you have anymore photos of the 17 sisters and brothers ?
Apparently, Annie Champ elderly parents adopted Babs as a little girl.Do you know who her real parents were ? Is she alive ? who are her children?, and on.
Annie's brother, Isaac, lived at Coolegegan. But for how long, his entire life. I have photos. Was he a dwarf ?
My mother and I know very little about Babs Whittaker.
I have sereral photos of her. One from Clarke wedding during the 1rst WW at Coolegagan and others when G.Grandparents returned with my grandfather "Peter" F.G.Clarke as a baby. (early 20's)
Do you want me to download and send these photos to you?
I will do the best I can. My skills are not great but I will try to be very specific in naming the people I do know in them for you.
Thank-you for help,
Sincerely, Katy
