Hello Mr.White,

What a wonderful surprise! Do I have a lot of questions for you! And stories to tell you handed down through my family.

My mother is 19 years older than I and I am 44.

The reason why I mention this is because we kept our ears open for all these years and we are working on the family project together.

I live in Vermont, USA.

This is the best well written and researched document of the Champ family I have yet read. It has pieced together a chronological string that is similar to my own, esp. in the last 100 years of Coolegagan House.

More of that later. But did you know that our Clarke family owns a cottage named Coolegagan?

That is where Grandma Nan and I spent our last Summer together.

Brian Poole and Harold Storey, I agree, were enormously helpful to my understanding of the history around them. Harold sent me some valuable material from England 4 years ago. And I have read Brian Poole's responses to queries on Ancestry.com

The third man I am not aware of.

Be back soon.

Katy
