Hi Lorraine,
I noticed that no one has responded to your query.

Well, the LDS familysearch gives information about a George Champ born in 1815 in the Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin. In 1841, he married a Mary Johnstone(b:1820) .

Could that George be related to the George you spoke of?

It is fascinating that he ran a hotel in Singapore. Do you know of anymore details? What County did he come from? Is he related to you?

My g. grandmother was Annie Champ, daughter of Isaac Champ. She told me she grew up on an estate called Coolegegan, in County Kildare.

Do you have any info to swap with me? Could our Champs be related?

No one has responded thus far to any of my querys and I am becoming discouraged.

best regards, Katy
