While studying up on local history in the Hemlock (Richland Township, Saginaw County area of Michigan) I ran across the details of a 1921 murder in which a man named Richard Champlain (age 22) shot his mother and father and then set their bodies on fire. His father was Adrian Champlain. If anyone needs any additional info on this family, let me know, as I have acquired a lot of material on them, particularly about the murders.
