A Joel Chandler died 1800 in Granville Co, NC. Never mind parents. This Joel's will names a son David.
Postings at rootsweb also cite the CFA Newsletter dated June 1994, vol. IV, no. 2, which states a Bible record for this family line was published in Memory Aldridge Lester's book Old Southern Bible Records.
HAS ANYONE SEEN THE ABOVE Bible RECORD? I would like verification of the wife of Joel's son David. When was this son born? when did he marry? who did he marry?
Posting have David married to Mary Unknown, Phoebe Unknown, Phoebe Ann Stovall, Elizabeth Ann Stovall, Mary Polly Stuart, and lord knows who else.
It seems that this David may have died 1838 in Granville Co, NC, as there might be a will for him there????
