Roy was third son of William Henry and Kissiah. My grandfather, Christopher Columbus (Lum) was oldest son. Wm. H.'s mother was Minerva Shadden Mercer Channel Morgan - altho no records have been found of marriages. Minerva was supposedly full Cherokee from Georgia, had 2 sons by James Mercer, then son by __ Channel. Wm. H. had daughter by first marriage to Lucinda Morris, (Henretta) but no one knows of her. Wm. H. had son by 2nd marriage (Charles) to Sarah Myers, who was given to Minerva to raise near Neosho, Mo. Sarah was rumored to be full Cherokee also, so Charles was 3/4. Wm. H.'s 3rd marriage, to Kissiah Norton, resulted in 14 children, not all reaching adulthood. I have more info. Bill
