Surnames: Chapman, Purves
Am seeking any information on maternal G Grandparents Charles Chapman and his wife Isabella Purves of Southwark, London, England (dates of birth est. 1850's). We assume that Isabella died in the mid-1880's, Charles married a widow with several children, and then he died (assuming early 1890's). Grandfather George Harold Chapman (dob 1883)came to Canada in 1893 as one of the Home Children. According to his birth certificate, Charles and Isabella resided at #3 Short Street in Southwark. We also know that they had additional children, but have no names.
