James Chappell md Rebecca Northcutt Lincoln Co KY 1801

A Chappell "cousin" informed me tonight that I skipped a generation in my family genealogy.I'm not sure how I did that but am glad she set me straight so I am back on track. Now I have to find out about this generation I skipped. Does anyone have any information regarding a James R. Chappell who was born 1781 in VA and died 3 Dec 1846 in Bullitt Co Ky.? He married Rebecca Northcutt 9 March 1801 in Lincoln Co Ky. I am told he is the father of my Wm who married Catherine STIFF and he is said to be the son of William Chappell Rev War soldier and Nancy Gooding. (I have little or nothing on Nancy Gooding so if you have anything on her I could use it) Any help is truly appreciated. thanks, Pam at Pamelamix@aol.com
