Surnames: Chartres (Charters), Tyrrell, Menz, Banks
I have my family (CHARTRES) back to 1700.
They came from London/Middlesex areas.
My line arrived in Adelaide South Australia in 1856.
Thomas CHARTRES & Mary Smith arrived with their children, Mary Ruth, Charlotte Eliza and Thomas Walter (my G-Grandfather)
The spelling on variuos records is CHARTRES and ChartERS, often for the same person.
I would be interested to contact any one with any interest in this line.
