My husband,John Denis Chasse,is the oldest son of Clarence Chasse of Cutbank. Clarence was the youngest of Ida (Racine) and Romain Chasse's family. Yes, there were 15, we have a picture of them sitting in front of their home. They moved to Montana from the Kent, Maine area. Ida was from New Brunswick as were Romain's parents. That border wasn't very definite in the 1860's. My husband's family is in Oregon, Washington, and Montana, but we are in upstate New York and dabble in the genealogy on ocassion.
