Hi,
My name is David George Emile Chasse III and I am working on a family tree project for a history class.
My problem is that my grandfather, David George Emile Chasse Sr. was killed in a car wreck in 1962 in North Carolina. He is believed to have been born in Maine, was a marine, and was 38 years old when he was killed.
Sadly, my family knows next to nothing about him as he was killed the very year my father was born, in 1962. Family members are said to have participated in a Chasse family parade in Maine, or New England area at any rate.
If we could find more information about my grandfather, his parentage and grandparents, it would be an important goal not only for this history class, but a personal family goal as well. We feel much of our history is unknown, but NOT unknowable!
