Aunty Sui Len's sons are Ronald and Teddy Goo She had 5 or 6 children, I don't know all of them. Our grandfather, Young Sing Chee, was the oldest child of Chee _____ with his first wife.

His second wife had Sui Len Chee Goo (f) , Sui Chen Chee Ho (f), Sai Man Chee, Sai Tong (Phillip) Chee.

His third wife had Sai Chock Chee.

Hello! My name is LaChelle James. I have been searching for the brother of my grandfather who went MIA in the Korean War, and if I am not mistaken, I strongly believe that the Joseph Chee you have described is a relation to my grandpa and our family. My grandfather's name is Lee James, but in the war, his name was Lee Chee. He also served in the Korean War as a Marine, but sadly, he returned without his brother. We are current residents of Sanders/Houck, Arizona, which is a part of the Apache County and the Navajo Nation Reservation. If possible, I would like to receive more information. Thank you for your time and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. I will do my best to help you help me. :)

SOme years ago i noticed you were trying to locate Ah Chee family members.

Ah Chee i think, was a fairly common first name, and often misspelt by the immigration people of the day.

My great grandfather was Chan Dah Chee, but here in NZ his name was translated to Ah Chee. And over the last 2 generations, the family has grown into the hundreds.

Dah Chee had 2 other brothers, one of whom stayed in NZ, and another went back to china, and eventually his offspring moved to HK. I am thinking that maybe your Hai Pham could be related to great grandads brother.

Ric

POW/MIA Korean War, CHEE

I am searching for the family of a soldier who was killed in the Korea War. When he entered service he gave Apache County, AZ as his home of record.

Soldier:JOSEPH CHEE
Born:1929
Date of loss: Feb. 4, 1952, MIA

When the Korean War ended the enemy never returned or accounted for over 8,000 of our servicemen. They died in their hands. That was over 50 years ago. Since that time DNA has been perfected and also they are recovering remains in North Korea. Our government is obligated to return those remains to the proper family. DNA samples have been obtained from most of the families of these missing soldiers. For various reasons some families have not been located.

When the remains are recovered and identified they will be returned to the family for proper burial. I am just an old (76 years) Combat Veteran out of the Korean War and thankful that I did return. I consider this a very noble cause and I hope that you can help in some way to find this family. For more information on the project you may go to http://www.jpac.pacom.mil/. My part in the program is to match up the lost families with the proper agency.

I will be grateful for any assistance in locating this family.

Harold Davis
40th Infantry Division
Korea ’52-‘53
910-791-2333
hgdavis@bellsouth.net
