Hello....I know this isn't much help but my family knew a James Chesney in Oak Ridge, TN. The gentleman drove a city bus in or around 1947. We knew him only as a nice, safe driver. He may have been James W. not sure. Good luck and I wish I knew more.

I'am searching for information on "Robert chesney",his wife or wive's unknown.Robert was born in Ireland, his wife in Scotland
"Robert chesney" had two known son's "Samuel James Chesney"
born January 12,1894 in Belfast ? , Antrim,ireland,died July 8,1966 in Los Angeles,Calif
Robert's other son "John Chesney" was born in Ireland November 25,1900 died in calif in May of 1977.
Samuel arrived in the U.s. in June 1912,his brother John in 1928. They are shown living together in the 1930 U.S. Federal Census in Pasadena,Calif.
Any help as to date's for Robert Chesney name and dates for his wife and any other information greatly appreciated.
The "Chesney's mentioned in this post are known to have resided in Ardenglass, Toombridge, and Ballymena, Ireland

I'm looking for information on Henry W. Chesney. I believe he was born about 1818 in England. I think he married Emma Ingraham. They had children born in Quebec:
Walter James, Spencer John, Emma Louise, John William, Thomas Henry, Anna Maria, Isabella Ann & Fred.
My line comes from his son Walter James.

I had Walter's father as someone else, but with this new information I want to confirm this info.

Are you still in Hindringham? I have been looking through internet sites for my ancestors who were from there. I'm not having much luck and thought maybe you would have access to records there.

My known ancestor is Anne Long who married William Everitt in Wells Next the Sea in 1764. Their first 2 sons were named William, the first died as an infant. The third son was Richard and the only daughter I found is Mary. If they used naming patterns (and most did then) Anne/s parents would be Richard and Mary. I found an Anne Long born 1739 in Hindringham, daughter of Richard and Mary. I believe this is the right Anne since Hindringham and Wells are only about 5 miles apart. My problem is that I cannot find a marriage for Richard and Mary, her family name , or birth and parent information for them.

I was hoping you might be able to help me with finding some of this information or tell me who could.

I am researching Harold Grant Chesney b. August 12, 1892. I have seen conflicting information. I'm not sure who Harold's parents are. I have seen that he is the son of Walter J. Chesney & Lucy Grant Chesney, as well as the son of Adolphus James Chesney & Adella Farmer Chesney.
I think the correct parent is Adolphus, but I want to be sure.

He may have been from Maine, not sure where she is from, but oral history says she is related to the late President Ullysses S. Grant.
At least two children, sons, Eugene, born 1881, and Harold, possibly born 1892 or '93. I'm sure there were children in between.

He married Anna SIMKO.

John Burton Chesney was my great grandfather. I just recently ran across a 1910 Census that listed Della as his wife. I have no other information, and when I searched your message came up. and funeral services will be held at the convienence
of the family.

Goosecow - One Cora is my great grandmother. She is buried next to my gr-grandfather Luther at Pisgah Cemetary in Pope County Arkansas. They were the parents of my grandfather Jewell "Bud" Chesney, whose wife was Bertha Moore. They are buried on the same side of the cemetary as well. I have photos of tombstones of Cora, Luther, Bud and Bertha (as well as my father's etc.) Good luck!

Eliza Jane Chesney was my Great-grandmother. She married Joseph Fugate.They had several children, most all were girls, but the one boy was my grandfather, Lanson Fugate, who married Irene Blanche Fish, daughter of Willard Fish and Alfreda Belle Loucks. Eliza and Joseph lived in Stearns Co., Minnesota where Lanson and a sister Leatha were born. Leatha died young. Then the family homesteaded in Cass Co., Minnesota, in May Twp..Some of the daughters seem to have been born in South Dakota. Eliza Jane Chesney Fugate died in 1905, but I don't know where. She is buried in Bridgeman Cemetery, May Twp. Cass Co., Minnesota, as is her husband, Joseph Edward Fugate, born in Williamstown, Kentucky in 1847, and died in Walker, Cass Co., Minnesota in 1929.He is buried in Bridgeman Cemetery. Lanson Fugate died in December, 1935 on a trip, and was found in a tourist camp in Pulaski, Giles Co., Tennessee. He was buried in Bridgeman beside his wife, Blanche, who died in April, 1928. Lanson and Blanche had had 11 children, and Blanche died the day the last child was born. My mother, Edith Fugate, was the 4th child.
