Pliney Chesshir/Chesshire in Arkansas

I am searching for information about Pliney Chesshir/Chesshire. Pliney is evidently a nickname as I have been unable to locate it anywhere except in the Red River County Cemetery Book. According to information I have she married Billy Humphrey, I believe in Howard County, AR.

Pliney & Billy had a daughter, Mary Chesshire Humphries, born 04 Dec 1878 in Nashville, Howard County, AR. Mary Chesshire Humphries married Charlie Mart Guest, 2 Jan 1901 in Red River County, TX. They are listed in the 1910, 1920, 1930 Red River County census.

I am trying to connect Pliney Chesshir/Chesshire with other Chesshir/Chesshire in my records. I know they are related but I just can not figue out who Pliney is.

He was born in Paris, Texas, Red River County in 1882 and Died in El Cajon, Califorinia, San Diego County in 1976 Mother was Elcia Hale and Father ?Dan

Pearl was born in 1882 in Tom Bean Texas, Grayson County, Died in El Cajon Ca. Mother Nora Hicks and Father James K P Stephens

Lived at 1475 Marline Ave El Cajon Ca. in 1965

I am searching for the parents of John Chesser and all variations b. abt 1769 married Sarah Hawkins in 1795 Fauquier Co. VA, had three children with her son b. 1798 , son b. 1800, and died about the time the third (a daughter) was born abt.1803-1804. The widow remarried 1805.

I am searching for information on my Great-Grandmothers relatives her name was Alvaretta Jane Chesshir. She lives in West Terre Haute, IN. She was living with her daughter in Danville, IN when she passed away.

Kannie Chesshir, 89, passed away Monday, August 18, 2003. She lived in Albuquerque from 1959 2000, and has spent the last three years in Rio Rancho, NM. She is survived by sons, Homer Chesshir and Jimmy Chesshir; daughters, Mildred Cooper and husband, Bob; Minnie Hoisington; Mary Ann Harris and husband, Roger; 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren. Kannie was preceded in death by husband, Harmon H. Chesshir and son, Harmon Chesshir. She was a member of Northdale Baptist Church. Services will be held Thursday, 10:30 a.m., at Northdale Baptist Church, 123 Osuna Rd. NW, with Rev. G. R. Patrick, officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menual NE. Pallbearers will be Rex Chesshir, Huey Morris, John Morris, Leroy Hoisington, H. S. Warren and Jeremy Warren. Honorary pallbearers will be Darrell Sanchez, Tyler Harris, Dalton Hysell and Michael Gomez. Friends may visit Wednesday, 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE. The family wishes a special thanks to the nurses and staff at Kaseman Hospice for their kind and caring nature. John Baptist Chesshir-Cheshire

Where was your John Baptist located--and when? My direct line is Jonathan Cheshire b. 1785--Elizabeth Hollis from MD b. 1786 then to KY. I think he connects to John Baptist Cheshire b. abt 1753 (I have 29 spellings for Cheshire)who died in Floyd IN in 1836.
