My name is John Chesterton and I am looking for information on other Chesterton families in the United States. I grew up in Jonesport Maine and never heard of other families with my name. My family has almost no knowledge of who we are and where we came from except for the famous G.K Chesterton. Anyone who can help me piece together where the Chesterton family came from originally as well as the when, why and how they came to America would be appreciated.
