Ruth Elizabeth (Hamilton) Chiaramonte, 83, of Richland Township, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009, at her home. She was born May 2, 1925, in Gastonville, Washington County, daughter of the late Clarence and Catherine (Stark) Hamilton. Mrs. Chiaramonte and her husband, Clare, owned and operated the C&R Ta (now Jude's Towne Ta) in Tarentum. Ruth enjoyed traveling, playing and bingo, but especially loved time to be with her family. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Clare Francis Chiaramonte. They were married June 28, 1947, in St. Ursula Roman Catholic Church in Hampton Township. She is also survived by her daughters, Gini (Jim) Longwell, of Richland Township, and Judy (Vince) Stunja, of West Deer Township; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the HERBERT R. KING JR. FUNERAL HOME INC., 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park, PA 15101. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Richard's Roman Catholic Church, 3841 Dickey Road, Gibsonia, with Father Ken Oldenski as celebrant.
