Classification: Query
Surnames: Childers, Starks
My son ids of the heritage Chiders/Starks. Family resides in Tulsa, Wagoner County, Creek Nation Oklahoma. His Grandfather is in a burial site in the Springfield Cemetery.
Edgar Starks, Father of Lawrence Calvin Starks, Father of
Jonathan Tanner Starks. G G G Grandmother was
Louisa [Childers][Wiley] Starks. We have been told the family resided in the Creek Nation, but the true heritage was of Cherokee and Louisa Chiders is the Enrolled #. I have strong belief that Benjiman Childers may have taken the women's name of Childers, as common with Native American
ways. Father of Edgar Starks was Samuel Starks whom was
married to Louisa [Wiley][Childers] and Samuel Starks was the son Benjiman Starks, intertwines somehow with the
Childers family of Wagoner County Oklahoma.
Please correct me in the heritage info. I'm trying to put
together the puzzle of my Son's Heitage and he is of the
Cherokee Blood / Creek Blood / Chotaw
