MUSCATINE, Iowa - Nancy K. Childers, 55, of Muscatine, died Sunday, March 23, 2008, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.
Graveside Services will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services.
Ms. Childers was born on March 1, 1953, in Mankato, Minnesota, the daughter of Nels and Lora Hiniker Todd Nelson. She married Louis Childers and later divorced.
Nancy worked as an office manager at Riverbend Excavating. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, sewing and most of all spending time with her family.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Daniel Childers of Muscatine, Joseph Childers and wife, Tracy of Sulphur, Louisiana, Wendy Childers of Muscatine and Darcy Hartman of Muscatine; five grandchildren, Sammy, Joseph and Andrew Childers and Zach and Logan Docherty.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Richard and Tom and one sister, Polly
