Seeking descendants of Rev. War soldied Moses Chiles/Childs who served at Fort Sullivan in Charleston S. Car. with relative (poss. father) Henry Chiles, received land in Anderson Co. S. Car. in 1781-84, which he exchanged in 1795 for land in Washington Co. Georgia.
Had daughter Elizabeth Jane Chiles, and son Seaborn Greene Chiles, Methodist Rev. of Columbia Co. Florida, ancestor of Gov. Lawson Chiles. Elizabeth Jane Chiles, (my ancestress) married Manuel Walton Loving and migrated with him through Benson Co. Alabama, to Sabine Co. Texas, where
he served for several days in Rev. of Texas, in 1837. Seeking any descendanst of this family with oral histories and information.
