My great great grandfather Samuel Chippy was born in 1834 in Virginia. His father was named John and he came from Delaware. In Belmont County Ohio my grandfather was listed as James Chipman on his death certificate. Don't have much information on the family. I know the names of some of my grandfathers brothers and sisters but not much else.
