Henry Goodnight. I am descended from John Henry & Mary Margaret Peggy
Condor via their dau. Nancy Goodnight.

George Preston Chisolm

George Preston Chisolm, the youngest son of William John Milton Chisolm and Dorothy Lee Swanson Chisolm had until now been lost. During research in the archives in Jackson, Mississippi his records from service in Company B of the 35th Mississippi Infantry was located. Muster rolls showed that he died 11 July 1862 at home in Rio, Kemper County Mississippi of illness contracted while serving in the unit. His widow, Mary M. (Felton) Chisolm filed a claim to the Confederate Government for his backpay. We do not know where he is actually buried but logic says the Chisolm Cemetery there in Rio. Anyone desiring info please contact me on regular email at: 3chisolms@att.net concerning any other data I may have possession of.

Trying to find any info on Mary Chisolm. According to SSDI records, she was born 6 Nov 1909, SS issued in NY, and she died in Aug. 1979, with last address in the Bronx, NY. Don't know if Chisolm is her maiden or married name. Thanks!

I am looking for any information on a James CHISOLM. His daughter Sophia married Thomas STRAWN in Bucks County in about 1772. Their children were born in Bucks Co,and Fayette Co. PA. They all moved to Madison Co, KY in the late 1700's Anything on the CHISOLM family will be greatly appreciated.
