Hello Mr. Hill,

Several years ago I purchased from an Asheville North Carolina Family by the name of Wilson a collection of your Grandfather's Artwork and writings including family letters.
Milton was a very talented painter along with his wife. I have a business card stating he had a gallery, did he have this very long?
Do you have any of his work?

His landscapes are fabulous. Is this what he preferred to paint? All the artwork I have of his are watercolors, was this his favorite medium?

Thank You,

Ran Jon Cloutier

Oh, And what was his relation to a Miss Mildred Ford?
Horatio Chriesman is the father of
Orcenith Wesley C.
Orcenith is the father and Susan Abigail Hill Chriesman the mother of
Richard Austin Chriesman. Richard Austin is my grandfather. His daughter (my mother) is Laura Chriesman Theurer.

The FLy and Hill families figure into my line through Susan Abigail Hill. I believe her father's name was Joe. (He also had a son named Joe).

My daughter's middle name is Hill ! Would love to hear from you! Marilyn

Chriesmans of Texas (or any where) seem to be hard to find? Susan Hill m Orseneth Wesley Chriesman on Jan 1 1861. I believe that they are both buried in the Chriesman cemetery in
Burleson Co., Texas. My grandfather Milton Fly Hill, Sr. kept up with his cousin Richard Chriesman of San Antonio, Texas. I would like to contact my (?)3rd cousins - I believe they may
live in the Houston, Texas area????? I understand that there is a Chriesman family organization?

Kevin Fly Hill
cpsmed@ballistic.com

Hi,
My name is Dan Hale and I am a descendant of a Victoria Belle Christman (Chrisman). I have had a great deal of trouble in learning anything about her but I do suspect that she is somehow kin to Horatio. I found her on the 1870 census in Burleson county living with a family who didn't look to be her parents. She was 11 on that census. I know for sure that she was in Austin TX by 1880 because she got married there to an Arch Lamb that year. I found a Belle Christman on the Austin 1880 census but she was said to be 17 not 20-21 as one might expect if she was to be the same VB Chrisman as on the 1870 census and again on this 1880 census she was listed without any other Christmans around her infact she is the only one in Austin that year! My question to anyone is if there is a list out there somewhere of Horatio's children and Grandchildren or any family names that might be associated with Horatio's family such as Victoria or Belle.
Dan Hale- Dallas

Orcenith Wesley Chriesman is a male-line descenant of 2-George Croesman who immigrated in 1729 on the Mortenhouse (who is also my immigrant ancestor). He descends as:

2-George Croesman1 --> John Chrisman2 -->George Chrisman3 --> Horatio Chriesman4 --> Orcenith Wesley Chriesman5.

This family is covered by the Cressman Family Association. Contact information can be found at http://chrisman.org
