His role has been submitted and accepted by NSSAR and the proofs are on file. If you have any interest in SAR, that proof would apply as long as you could show how you link to Jacob 2. The records are in Richmond at the Library of VA, but I imagine you could obtain them on Footnote as well. There is a series published titled 'Publik Service Claims' - a 3 volume set that lists Jacob's contribution in support of the Colonists. As I likely mentioned, since he was too old by the time the war began, he chose to provide support thru goods and services..
