My name is Betty Marsh. My mother, Edith Marie Chrismon Melton, was the youngest daughter of James(Jim)(JD) Chrismon & Florence Amanda Benefield Chrismon. He had 4 children with my grandmother, Florence. They were Glen, died in childbirth, Thomas Alva Edison Chrismon(deceased 1988), Bell Chrismon Ottmo(deceased 1979)& my mom(deceased 2003). He is buried in the Forest Chapel Cemetary a few miles from Arthur City, Texas. my grandmother is buried there also. Unfortunately, their graves were never marked and we do not know exactly where they are. The only person I would think would know is now deceased also. Didn't know he had 4 other children from a 2nd marriage. Never knew about that one. Did know of the 1st though because mom would speak of her half brothers.They are both deceased now as are their spouses.We tried to keep in touch with teodora Chrismon(Carl), but she did not seem interested.
