I'm sure there are many people who would be happy to help you, but a little more information would be needed. Anything at all - such as a guess as to birth/death year for any of them. It doesn't need to be exact, just a guess as to which decade. And even the area of the country where they lived would help. If you don't know the state, do you know whether they lived on the east coast, west coast,in the midwest, or the south? (Where were their descendants born?) Did John have siblings? Post a little more info and see if you don't get a better response.

I am looking for information about the birth (possibly in denmark) of an Axel Peter Christiansen. He died in 1994 and on the death it said he was 85 which would mean he was born around 1909.
I believe he was married to a Betty Jury and am very interested in finding out about any children they may have had.

I am looking for anyone that has this G. M. Christiansen in their family tree. I do not know what the G or M stands for, all I know is he was my fathers Lt. Commander in the US Navy during June thru Oct. 1945 in the Philippines during World War Two, he was in the USNR as a Lt. Commander and he was my fathers Commanding Officer in the 7th Fleet 7th Amphibious Forces in the Subic Bay Philippines area. I am wanting to know what ships this Lt. Commander was on during the June thru August 1945 time frame. PLease this is very important to me so please all you Christiansen people put your heads together and find him for me please. Attached is a photo of Capt. H. F. Christiansen, MD, from my grandfather's WW1 scrapbook. They served together at Base Hospital 108 in the Nievre Department of France, American Expeditionary Forces.

I am trying to locate a george christiansen married to woman by the first name of corrine

they had 2 daughters and 1 son named george christiansen JR.

I am also trying to locate Georges brother Fred Christiansen who married a lady by the first name of Mae.

I am also trying to find Alice and george Koss Alice's madien name is Christiansen

They all died somewhere in cook county, Illinois I found them in 1920 and 1930 census but cant find any death information whatsoever or burial information or place?

I need some major help with this task..

This family has been a booger to research, but I have gotten TONS of information finally on this bunch... all the way back to Denmark... WOOHOO. Uncle Bill was thrilled (Fred H. Christiansen's son)...

I was planning on sending the genealogy to a few relatives... and I'd be willing to share with y'all... I would still like a few fill in the blanks if I could actually get a hold of George Christiansen's family... as well as a few of the Shepherds...

I'm looking for information the the family of Niels Christiansen and wife Hinrica Hinrichsen from Tonder, Denmark. They were married 29 May 1825 in Tonder, and had at least one child, Christiana Nicoline Christiansen. She was born 4 July 1828 in Tonder.

She married a Momme Iwerson/Everson from Nieubell, Schleswig Holstein on Oct 12 1850.

I would like to find the parent of Niels and Hinrica, as well as any sibling of Christiana.

I am looking for information on Marie Katherine or Maria Caroline Christiansen. She married Wilhelm Johannsen and they came to America with Julius and August, their two children. Both Wilhelm and Marie are from Schleswig-Holstein. They settled in northern Ohio in about 1871. Any information would be very helpful. Thank you!

Your John Christiansen is not The Hans I am looking for information on.
Hans came from a farm on an island on the west coast of Norway. He was one of 4 brothers that immigrated to the U.S.
2 of the brothers spell christiansen different ways and the other 2 including Hans I have no idea how they spelled their last in the U.S.

Harry E Christiansen 1889-1944, Florence S Christiansen (nee Scholtka) 1895-1976, and Harry S Christiansen 1918-1958 are all buried in section 33 at Forest Home Cemetery in Milwaukee Wisconsin.
Monument has Scholtka/Christiansen. Christian(1854-1938) and Louise (nee Warm) (1858-1948) Scholtka are also buried there.
Researching more info. Hope it helps.

My Grandfather was the Marinus Jacob Christian Nyborg you mention in your posting. He married Mathilda Kesting. One of their children was Jeanne. She married my father, Frank Bonello. I never knew Marinus Nyborg because he died a few years before I was born.

My mother-in-law was Joan Christiansen. Her father was John Christiansen, and her sisters were Margaret and Bertha.
They moved from Norway to Brooklyn in 1920? and lived there through 1960.
My husband's name is Jim Hektor.

I have two Christiansen lines. One settled in Nebraska and South Dakota, when they first came to the U.S. The other settled in Iowa and South Dakota. My two lines merge in South Dakota. Carolina Christiansen, born in Iowa, married Nels Christiansen, born in South Dakota. Christian Christiansen and Anna Nelsen are of the NE/SD line. Anton Christiansen and Marie Feldtmann settled in Iowa and then moved on to South Dakota. They were in Woodbury Co. Anton had two brothers, Mads and Peder, but I don't have much info on them. I don't know about sisters. I do have Sena's/Sine's in both lines. They are shortened forms of Hansine and Christine/Christina. I don't think we have a match though. Also, my Christiansen's seem to all be from Langeland - Svendborg, Simmerbolle, Humble, Fodslette mostly.

I show a "Sena/Sine" Christiansen that was born and married in Denmark... She along with her husband ,Peter Jensen, ended up in and or around Clinton Iowa ... Their daughter Amelia married Hans Fries ,also from Denmark...
Other family names are ....Rasmussen, Wraamand, Petersen, Jensen, Jorgensen, Christiansen, Friies....
Most if not all are from the Denmark Island of Lolland .

I found your post on Rootsweb. I also have Christiansen/Jensen/Hansen in my family tree although mine came from Moss in Norway. Edvard (illegitimate) his mothers name was Ann Marie Olsdatter born about 1803 in Sweden. Edvards fathers name was Hans Jensen (Kjos), I suppose that is where the Hansen came from. Edvard had a stepsister named Inger Andrea Erichsen (also illegitimate)her fathers name was Erich Erichsen. Inger had 2 children Edvin Christiansen (illegitimate)fathers name Hans Christian Olsen, in 1860 they had another child - a daughter named Josephine Olava Christiansen. In 1860 Inger and Erich married.
Does any of these names match yours

I am looking for a "John" Christiansen (Christenson or Christianson). Your "Hans" could be a John or Jon. This John Christiansen I am looking for was a seaman, supposedly in the Royal Navy in Norway or Denmark. He always worked on the boats. "My" John Christiansen came to Toronto, Canada, his wife (maybe girlfriend) had a baby girl in 1948 named Nancy. John supposedly took her back to Denmark to live but that may not have been the case. I assume he was born around 1924 but it may have been earlier.

I am desperately trying to find John & Nancy Christiansen for Nancy's half sister, Dorothy. Nancy was given up by her biological mother to be taken to Norway or Denmark where she was raised by her father, John. Hopefully, John and daughter Nancy are still alive, John, a seaman, being born in Norway about 1924 and Nancy in 1948 in Canada. She left Canada at about 3 years old being handed around her mother's family to look after her. Are there any obituary lists or any way she can be found. We have photographs of her. I thank you for your reply. The John Christiansen I am looking for "did" spend time in the United States before he came to Canada where he met a Canadian girl and they had a baby in about 1948. John told his "wife's" family that he had been in the navy when he lived in Norway. I am not sure if that was the "Royal" navy or just the merchant marine navy. Sometimes, these things get lost in the translation. He apparently met his Canadian wife on a ship. Could this still not be your Hans? My John would have been born about 1924 or thereabouts. I have learned that one of the most common reasons that people get totally "lost" is that they have gone to live in another country. What do you think!!!
