Hi,
My paternal grandma was Rose (Chuck) Meyers.
I only know that she was from Pennsylvania and married Joseph Meyers while pregnant with my father John (NMI Meyers. Joseph adopted my dad. They had 9 children: (John), Joseph, Mary Ann, Elizabeth,William,Rosemarie, Barbara, James and Dorothy and lived in Cleveland, OH.

I did get to meet my grandma Chuck back in the early 1970's. I don't know anything about grandpa Chuck except he was not alive at that time.

I don't know any other names at this time. Any connections from this info?

Hi,
I am looking for the daughter of John Chuck

All I know is that he came to America from Ukraine/Austria...

He had and UNCLE....Leon Chuck, who lived in Chester County, Phoenixville, PA, then Montgomery County, Royersford, PA

John and Leon were the ONLY TWO MEMBERS of their family to come to America. (Uncle & Nephew)

Leon Chuck's original name was JULIAN CIUCH...so John's would have also been CIUCH, then changed to CHUCK while here in US.

Can anyone help in locating John Chuck's only child...his daughter?

I am tracing Rayment and Chuck families from Hertfordshire and London but I have no knowledge of any Leigh families. Sorry.

Chuck family of Hertfordshire, England

I've just begun researching the Chuck family. My grandmother was Kitty (Kate) Chuck (born 1869 Stevenage)and she married Arthur Rayment in Bethnal Green in 1893. Kitty's parents were William Chuck (born c 1842) and Elizabeth Sell. I believe that William's father was also William Chuck.

Dear Sylvia,

I have just noticed your message regarding William Chuck (b. 1842). His father was William Chuck (B. 1815). William Chuck (Snr) married Maria Waller. They had 4 children (that I know of) - Esther (b. 1838), William (b. 1842) Charles (b. 1852)and Alfred (b. 1853). I am a descendant of Esther Chuck. She apparently married a man by the name of E. Worsfold. Here i am stuck. I can find no reference to the marriage of Esther. Can you confirm any of this and do you have a record of Esther's marriage?

I am also researching the surname Chuck. My great grandmother was Kate Marion Chuck, born 12 Nov 1879 in kentish Town, her father was Charles, his father Daniel, his father was John Chuck, Daniel had a brother William. John's children where baptised in St Brides in fleet St.

Could we he searching the same family?

Michael H. Kuchka, 83, of King of Prussia died Saturday, April 6, 2002, at his daughter’s home in Yardley.
Born April 19, 1919, in Berwick, where he lived for 42 years, he was a son of the late Harry and Mary Chuck Kuchka.
He was a sergeant with the 386th Squadron, 312th Bombardment Group, Fifth Air Force, serving in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater, and was a member of VFW Post No.5203, Paoli.
Mr. Kuchka was formerly employed by AC&F Industries, Berwick, for 20 years. He then was a supervisor for General Electric, King of Prussia, for 24 years.
Mr. Kuchka was a member of St. Michael’s Russian Orthodox Church, where he was a cantor and member of the choir.
He was a volunteer for the American Red Cross at blood drives.
He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Yedinak, to whom he was married May 30, 1942; two daughters; Janice Claire Cox, Philadelphia; and Judith Ann Miller, Tardley; a son, Dr. Michael Richard Kuchka, Bethlehem; four grandchildren; and two brothers: Stephen Kutchka and George Kuchka, both of Berwick.
Divine Liturgy will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Ghost Orthodox Catholic Church, Star and Bridge Streets, Phoenixville. Burial will take place at 3p.m. in Pine Grove Cemetery, Berwick, under the direction of the Boyd-Horrox Funeral Home, 200 W. Germantown Pike, Norristown.

Herbert Robert Chuck (1916-1976)

Looking for parents of Herbert Robert Chuck. He was born March 8, 1916 (not sure where). He married Alma Bergman. They had 4 children: Herbert John, Joyce Alice, Donna and Jay Robert. Herbert Robert Chuck died in March of 1976.
