The info I have on James Church is quite limited but always worth a try. He would have been b. ca. 1825 in New Jersey. He lived in Woodbridge NJ and was m. there to Louise Wright 14 Dec. 1839. He was a boatman by trade probably working the Raritan River and Arthur Kill. At some point he appears to have moved to New Brunswick NJ. He and his wife had seven known children;Matilda b.ca 1840; James b.1844; Jane b.ca 1847; John b. ca 1849; Catherine Ann b. 23 nov 1851, Woodbridge NJ and married to Samuel Wesley Latham on 15 Aug 1868 NBNJ; Elizabeth b. ca 1853 and Helen b.ca 1859. It is likely there were add'l children. Should anyone have any knowledge of this family I would appreciate hearing from you at my e-mail address mapapool@aol.com
