I'm also Claudio on my mother side of the family and also from Vega Baja.My grandparents and ggparents were Maria Melendez y Rivera and Fuljencio Claudio y Gutierrez;Maria's parents were Jose Melendez y Vega and Baldomera Rivera y
Martinez,Fuljencio was raised by his uncle Francisco Claudio his father was Majin Claudio.All from Vega Baja that I know of,do any of these names sound familiar to you or your parents?I would appreciate and would like to thank you for any help or info you can give me.

I wonder because my grandmother's name is also Tomasa Claudio, just like yours.

She passed away when I was maybe 3 or 4 yrs. old, but I still recall how she looked like then as she took care of me until she died. She married my grandfather, Fabian Liwanag, and they had a son named Teodoro Claudio Liwanag, who turned to be my father.

As far as I know, the Claudios (at least my lineage) hailed from either Guiguinto or Bigaa (now Balagtas), Bulacan Province. Unfortunately, I didnt care to ask my father of his ancestry while he was living. He joined our Lord on December 27, last year and was laid to rest in Toronto, Canada leaving behind my mother (now 87 yrs. old) and 2 sisters there. My parents are both Canadian Gov't pensioners and has been living in Canada for the past 17 yrs., although they come and visit the Philippines at least once or twice in every 2 yrs. If somebody can pick the traces to connect to where I am stopping here, I would gladly appreciate it.

Well Marisol, your father is my uncle. He is Tio Willin as we all know him. my father is Evaristo, known as Baro. I live in Jacksonville, FL. My oldest sister is Doris Claudio. My father's mother was abuela Esperanza and abuela Benita raised him and other eight brothers and sisters. They all make a total of 21. My father is the oldest of all. Also, Tio Pablo, Tio Domingo and Tio Ernesto they all past away. The rest are Pedro, Aurelia, Tere, Lenchy, Franci, Margarita, Elena, Manolo, Miguel, Toño, Raul, Feliciana, Rosa, Maria, Santa, Ramon (Pichon). I am in facebook, Elsie Claudio.

Hi, I'm from the Claudios from San Lorenzo too. My father, r.i.p., was Carmelo Claudio Gomez from Quebrada Honda. His parents were Fructuoso Claudio and Flora Gomez. His brothers were Juan, Perfecto, Mariano, Urbano, Paula, Jorge, and Juana, but I did not know them all because some died at a young age. I only met Juan and Perfecto. Jose Angel Claudio is Juan's son and lives in Bayamon. Perfecto never had family and passed away approx 4 or 5 yrs. ago. Juan was living in Trujillo Alto in Villa Andalucia when he passed away many years ago. I remember Nino and saw him a couple of years ago living in Trujillo Alto with his family. Quizas tienes esta informacion:
En las tarjectas de inscripcion de WW1, dice que Felipe nacio en 1898, que tenia ojos azules y pelo negro. El hermano Francisco nacio junio 12, 1895. Hay otro con los mismos pellidos, llamado Eufemio que nacio en 1899, mismo pueblo. La tarjeta de Dimas dice que el nacio en caguas, 1896. En el census de 1901, Fidel esta con Carmela, y tienen a Dimas, y 3 hermanas: Tecla 12 anos, Mariana 6 anos, y Salvadora de 2 anos. Fidel (45 anos) y Carmela (36 anos) dice que estan casados 20 anos, tuvieron 5 hijos, 4 todavia vivos. Estan en Tomas de Castro, Caguas.

Senorita, alguna que otra vez, cuando era mas pequeno, oir mencionar a mi padre algunos de esos nombres. Solamente le puedo decir que mi padre Felipe Claudio Claudio tenia los ojos verdes no azules, el pelo si lo tenia negro. Mi padre murio en el 1977. El nombre de Eufemio me suena ya que era un primo que tenia mi padre y que creo que estaba casado o era hijo de una senora (si no estoy equivocado) llamada Concha Torres. Cuando yo tenia como 6 o 8 anos, ellos vivian en la calle Rafael Cordero de la barriada Savarona en Caguas. El que usted llama Francisco (Pancho) era el hermano mayor de mi padre, el cual segun me dijeron lo mataron bien joven. Los demas hermanos de mi padre eran: Loreto, Jesus, Concepcion (Concha), Ramona, Pia Ana y Matilde (la unica que esta viva). Lamento no poder darle mas informacion ya que no conoci a todas las persona s que usted menciona, solamente las oi nombrar. Espero haberle ayudado en algo. Suerte en su busqueda,....Luis E. Claudio

Their neighbors were Fransisco Claudio y Secunda Claudio de Claudio.

So, it is very possible (almost Certain) that we are related.

Does Matilde know of someone named Milagros Claudio Arroyo who Marrried Juan Rodriguez Colon? I believe she is the daughter of Dimas Claudio.
