Hi Jackie,

My name is Rebecca Clavey (from Australia) and likewise am a decendent of Francis William Clavey through James William Clavey. I was wondering if you have any information about both men (0r others). James left the UK but don't know why or which ship etc(thought you may know or had heard why). I was wondering if you had any photos of the famly that you would be willing share.

Hello,
I am looking for any information on my great-grandfather, Celestin Andrew Clavie. He went by Andrew and by Andre. He was born in Elbeuf, France in 1893. I think he came to the US in 1907 with his aunt, Victoria Boulanger. His parents were Henry Clavie and Jane Boulanger. He was married to Rose Smith (b. abt. 1885 in TN) and then to Victoria Williamson (my g-grandmother, b. 1905 or 1906 in NY).

I have a Gilbert Clavey in my family database, he was my first cousin, twice removed. I have no information about who he married, so I'm not sure if we have the same Gilbert here.
The Gilbert that I have was born in Cook Co., Illinois on 23Dec1909 and died on 25 Dec 1972. He was a son of Wilhelm "William" Clavey (4Oct1868 - 2Feb1930) and Sophia Nadir (May1872 - 28Jan1954).

My great great grandparents were Louis and Charlotte Clavey. I have them on the 1880 census for Northfield IL, with their children Ernst, Fredrick (my great grandfather), William, John, Minnie, and Riggie.
I have Louis as being born abt. 1824 and Charlotte abt. 1830.
I'm looking for any further information, in particular Charlotte's maiden name, and the names of both of their paretns. I show that both of them were born in German.

I am the daughter of George Edward Clavey, I have been trying to find information regarding my fathers family tree.
I have managed to find relations in Australia but would like more details. I noticed that you replied to my niece Joanne Clavey, her father is my brother. Do you have any relationship to the Clavey's?

I assume you are the Joanne CLAVEY who was born in 1979 in the Luton RD. I have traced the ancestry of George Edward CLAVEY back to the early 1700's in Somerset. Are you interested?

Lena and/or Lina Clavey WI or MN

I'm looking for information on a Lena or Lina Clavey in either Wisconsin or Minnesota. On my gg grandfather's death certificate it lists a Mrs. Lina Clavey as his daughter and Lena as his wife. Place of death for him was Hennepin Co. Minneapolis MN Oct 1924. He was buried in Price Co. WI. Can anyone help?

I am looking for relatives. I know very litte about my family. My Grandfather's name was Victor Martin Clavey he was born about 1880 in either Marion county Il. or Marion Il and married my Grandmother Anna Estella Kell in about 1910 in either of those places. I have heard rumors he died in about 1917 in a flu epidemic, but don't know this to be fact. If anyone knows anything it would help me get started. My Great Grandmothers maiden name was Clavey I have no idea at this point Where she was born or who her parents were. She married a Simon Holleran most likey original name O'Halloran from Co. Clare, Ireland. The only thing I do Know for sure is that they had two sons. John Edward Holleran was born in Bourbon Co.(Paris,Ky)07-09-1876. I'm not sure at this point when or where their son Simon Holleran was born. But as of 09-19-1957 he lived in Harrison, Ohio. After that I cannot find Bridget or Simon Holleran anywhere. My dad's name is Marvin and my grandmother was Christine. Grandfather died in 1973, so I have trouble remembering his exact name without asking my dad. (eek!) The name sounds right. I believe my father is the youngest of the three sons. They lived in Glenview, IL and then in Northbrook, IL. Dad's email is mclavey@corecomm.net. It's very odd, but I was thinking of my grandparents this evening and then the banner appeared on AOL so I clicked it. I hope to hear from you soon.
