I have an Elijah Keefe Clayton on my mothers family tree. Born 1830 in Macclesfield, England, mother Elizabeth Keefe, father, John Clayton. Married and came to Indiana or Illinois.
Online found a graveston of E K Clayton in Indiana with dates 1830-1903. Also a John clayton 1859-1943. Both in Mount Hope Cemetery in Huntington, Indiana.
I'm trying to verify this information since it was given to me by a relative that has since passed away.
