Hi, I too am searching for Cleators from Isle of Man. I'm not sure if there is any link as the furthest I can trace back is a Thomas Cleator born about 1801 I think in Kirkbride? Not sure. I am descendant through his son William Cleator born abt 1846 also possibly of Kirkbride or Andreas. William is my GG Grandfather.

thanks for your message looks like Jane Cleator was never from Scotland I knew that a lot of Cleators were from the IOM
but up to now have no connections so will try and follow the trail and see were I end up
