I am the daughter of the Billy Joe Clegg you are speaking of. He was born William Joseph Summers (biological parents: Rubene R. Chipman and Robert B. Summers). He was adopted by Julia Ann Farel (or Farell) and Thomas Golden Clegg. Their baby girl died as an infant and they raised my father (and adopted him as a teenager).
