I have our tree traced to the "first cousin" of Samuel Clemens a William "Billy" Clemens. He is reported to have come to the West with his first cousin Samuel Clemens, Mark Twain, in the history of Soda Springs and Caraboo County, Idaho. The same story has been told for years in my family. I can't find the name of William's father. To connect the 'cousins'.
