I am seeking information about my great-grandfather, John T. Clement, born about 1809 in North Carolina. By 1830, he and his family are residents of McNairy County, TN. He first married a woman named Sarah (no other information). They were the parents of three girls and a boy. Sarah died in 1860, and he then married Catherine Ellen Saunders in 1868(my great-grandmother). They have two children a girl named Lou, born in 1872, and a son named John Edmund (my grandfather) who was born in 1878. John T. died either right before or soon after my grandfather's birth. Lou married Frank Burkhead, and John E. married Martha Davenport. Additional facts about John T.'s parents and other family would be great! Thanks.
