TIPTON, Iowa -- Nancy Alora Clements, 101, of 414 W. Fourth St., Tipton, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2003, at her home.

Services are at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tipton. The Rev. Eugene Benda will officiate. Musical selections will be provided by organist Mary Barnum and vocalist Jane Osborn. Pallbearers are David Goff, Matthew Goff, Steven Crow, Stanley Crow, Michael Williams and Charles Williams. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Tipton.

Visitation is with a Parish Vigil Service, at the Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Memorials may be made to the Tipton Ambulance and St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Mrs. Clements was born on September 11, 1902, in Buchanan, the daughter of Charles Albert and Laura May Thompson Reed. She married Clarence D. Clements on January 13, 1924, in Tipton.

She graduated from Wheatland High School, attended Coe College and graduated from Marycrest College.

She was a teacher in Rochester and Durant, retiring at age 65.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and St. Bernadette.

Survivors include three daughters, Edith Goff of Tipton, Helen Maxine Crow and her husband, Dean, of Oxford and Kathleen Williams of Tipton; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; five sisters, Sebedia, Johnaphine, Christina, Welcome and Susan; and two brothers, Adelbert 'Pete' and John 'Bud' Reed
