I am researching the Clenney line for my cousin. I have discovered Reuben Clenney was her 3rd great grandfather by his son Francis Marion, by his son Joe Lee, by his son Rudolph. Her father was Benny Joe, the only child to Rudolph and Elizabeth Brownlee Clenney. At Benny's birth, his name was registered as Clenny, so his children's last name is spelled without the extra "E". I am trying to find out as much information as possible since Benny passed away unexpectly this past May. His daughter has never known her Clenney family and has become interested in locating them.
