Hi Jerry: I am the great-great-great grandson of Charles Clerc and Josephine Simon Clerc who are buried (or entombed actually) in Lafayette Cemetery in New Orleans. My mother is Lisa-Clerc Rosenberg (born Clerc Minette Stokes), her father was Vene P. Stokes, his mother was Clerc Jaubert Stokes, her mother was Irma Clerc Jaubert and her parents were Charles and Josephine Clerc. My mother tells me that my grandfather, who is deceased, talked about Gandolfo cousins and was in touch with Philip Clerc whose name appears in some of the material listed in your post. I also noticed the name DeBat in that list: Camelia DeBat Waddill is buried in the tomb of Marius Jaubert and Irma Clerc Jaubert at Metarie cemetery.
