My great-grandfather, Achilles, was born in Milan to the Clerici family in, I'm guessing, the 1870s. He immigrated to Honduras in the 1890s and owned a banana plantation and shipping line. He married Emilia Gerhardt, an immigrant from Belgium related to the Rothchild family. They had 13 children of which only 2 survived, my grandmother Felicita and her brother Frank (Franco) both born in New Orleans in the 1890s. Frank had 2 daughters, Josephine (FiFi) and Tita.
