Seeking descendants of Capt. George Cleveland (1871-1925) of the Hudson Bay Co. in Repulse Bay (also of Wager Bay and Chesterfield Inlet) in Nunavut, as well as Vineyard Haven, Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, USA.

His wives in Nunavut included Tabitia Taututtiaq (aka Tooteecheak, Taututsiak; b. c. 1885, the dau. of Kayardjuar of Ivallak and Nangar), Lea(h) Angnauyak (aka Angaujaq, Arnaujaq; the daughter of Capt. John Murray) and Sapinaq.

His children by Taututtiaq included Ittuliaq/Iktuliak, Nangaat/Nangnaan Issigaitok, Siusarnaat, Hanna(h) Siksik, Martha Ipiksaut, and a girl adopted to a Pelly Bay couple.

His children by other Nunavut women may have included Elizabeth Inukpaujaq Kiatshuk (aka Qiatsuk, Qiatshuk, Qiashuk), Mary Anulik Kuutiq, Qinnguq, Jacob Amiimiaqjuk Pilakapsi, Phillip Kripanik, Abraham Tagornak, and Angaquaqsaaq.

Capt. Cleveland was the eldest child of Henry N. Cleveland (1848-1929) and his wife Ann Eliza (Fish) Gibbs of Martha's Vineyard, MA, USA.

Thanks for any help!

Chris
