As many times as I have searched these threads I am just now finding yours. I have yet to find either of them but lee Andrew Curtis and vardeman as well as 3 others are in new hope cemetery in mccracken county ky. Vardeman was my great grandfather, his daughter Carrie married John Calvin Powers and my grandfather being one of their children. His daughter Lillie married a Hayes, Lizzie and Pearl I am not sure of.
Dudley had several children. Those I know of are Henry Curtis, Sarah Elizabeth Curtis Young, Lyle Curtis Harte, Henry A Curtis, Delia Curtis, Vardeman Curtis, and Lee Andrew Curtis.
Based on the 7 year gap between birth dates I presume Henry and Sarah are by Amelia and everyone following them by Susan.
Dudley was a prisoner at camp chase during the civil war. I'm hoping contacting the historians responsible for archives can lead me to the next clue so I may figure out what happened to him from there. William Moore, father of Annie Moore - Vardeman's wife was also a prisoner there. I will post the links below
