I am living in Virginia USA but was born in Winchester Hampshire England. I have a single line of ancestors dating back to 1770 so far and all were born in Devon and maybe Cornwall. I found a book of Devon parish records from 1400 but much of it is unreadable but many Cleverdon's existed and marriage to Galsworthy seemed to maybe be one line of fame. I am stuck at 1770 as I cannot find any information of marriage between Thomas Cleverdon and Joanna ?. Maybe we are related? Any contact greatly appreciated as I am working on expanding the liniage now.
