Danny Ross Cline

Danny Ross Cline, 58 years old, of Maxwelton, WV, formerly of Gilbert, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 12 2007, at the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Greenbrier, WV. Born September 19, 1948, at Gilbert, he was the son of Marie (Holbrook) Cline and the late Bert Mason Cline. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Cline. Danny was a 1967 graduate of Gilbert High School, a Veteran of the US Army, a disabled coal miner, a member of the UMWA, and of the Protestant Faith. Those left to love and cherish the memory of Danny are his mother, Marie Cline, of Gilbert; his daughter, Lena (Barry) Shandor of Nitro; two granddaughters: Kierra and Michaela; his sister, Barbara (David) Ward of Gilbert; his two brothers: Terry (Judy) Cline of Lancaster, Ohio, and Doyle (Pinky) Cline of Varney; his nephew; his four nieces; and a host of family and friends. Friends may call at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert, on Thursday, June 21, 2007, from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 22, 2007, at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Lester officiating. Brookie (Hatfield) Cline

Brookie (Hatfield) Cline, 92, of Coal Mountain, WV, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Brookie loved to sew and make quilts. Born March 16, 1915, at Coal Mountain, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Rinne (Toler) Hatfield . In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Virgil Cline, eight brothers: Troy, Virgil, Frank, Lonnie, Elmer, Lessie, Alvin and Luther Hatfield, and two sisters: Goldie and Cora Hatfield. Those left to love and cherish the memory of Brookie are her four sisters: Georgie Hatfield and Arlene Wallace, both of Coal Mountain, Virginia (Mervin) Fraley of Morehead KY, and Zettie Brown of Cyclone.

Friends may call at the Missionary Baptist Church, Coal Mountain, on Friday, July 6, 2007, from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2007, at 1:00 pm at the Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Clyde Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in the Hatfield Cemetery at Coal Mountain. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers





Donnie Ray Cline

Donnie Ray Cline, 29, of Baisden, departed this life on Saturday, July 21, 2007, at Logan Regional Medical Center.
Born, October 9, 1977, at Man, he was the beloved son of Danny and Orangie (Lester) Cline.
Donnie was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bill & Magoline Cline and his maternal grandfather, Hilden Lester.
In addition to his parents those left to love and cherish the memory of Donnie are his sister, Valerie (Jamey) Lester; and his niece, Hailey Lester, all of Baisden; his maternal grandmother, Lula Lester of Mallory; and a host of family and friends.
Friends called at the Full Gospel Church of God at Baisden, on Tuesday, July 24, 2007, from 6 to 10 PM. Funeral services were held at the Full Gospel Church of God on Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Jonas Trent and the Rev. Learmon Mounts officiating. Burial followed in the Cline Cemetery at Baisden. Pallbearers were : Dustin Smith, Nixon Cline, Rex Cline, Jamey Lester, Bill Ellis, Jimmy Keith West, Peanut Cline and Brian Keith Lester. Honorary pallbearers were: Johnson Bailey, Brandon, Ricky Lester, Richard Smith and Gary Wayne Blankenship.







Ethel (Layne) Cline

Ethel (Layne) Cline, 90, of Baisden, departed this life on Wednesday, January 23, 2008, at Logan Regional Medical Center, Logan WV.

Born on April 14, 1917 at Hurley VA, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Ida (Matney) Layne.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joda Cline; two sons: Claude and Douglas Cline; two daughters: Brenda Sue Cline and Shirley Cline; her three brothers: Sanford, Isiah, and Johnny Cline; and a sister, Amanda L. Cline.

Ethel was a homemaker and a member of the Rosa Regular Baptist Church at Baisden.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Ethel are: her two daughters: Lucille (Sonny) Phelps of Iaeger and Glenda (Lonnie) Simpkins of Meador; her five sons: Wendell Cline of Oceana, Colin (Brenda) Cline of Hanson KY, Robert Cline of Beckley, Kevin Cline of Baisden, and Barry Cline of Justice; her five sisters: Pauline Cline and Jean Layne of Baisden, Toby Matthews of Verner, Molly Bailey of Williamson, and Anna Mae Moore of Columbus OH; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 26th 2008 at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Nagy officiating. Burial followed in the Joda Cline Cemetery at Baisden. Family and friends served as pallbearers.





Lawrence Cline

Lawrence Cline, 80, of Baisden, departed this life on Friday, January 25, 2008, at his residence.

Born on January 25, 1928 at Baisden, he was the son of the late Floyd and Virgie (Davis) Cline.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two daughters: Rosemary Cline of Baisden and Teresa Cheryl Cline of Dallas TX; six brothers and four sisters.

Lawrence was a retired coal miner and of the Christian faith.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Lawrence are: his longtime companion, Eloise Cline of Baisden; his two sons: Steven L. (Sherry) Cline of Baisden and Jerry (Gail) Cline of Hinton; his five daughters: Debbie (David) Blankenship and Carmella (Terry) Salmons of Baisden, Jennifer (JB) Hatfield of Hampden, Katrina (Ray) Morgan of Simon, and Pamela (Brian) Dingle of Mentor, Ohio; his 19 grandchildren, his 12 great grandchildren; his four sisters: Mary, Niellie, and Naomi Cline and Opal Sammons; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 28th, 2008 at the Full Gospel Church of God with the Rev. Jonas Trent and the Rev. Lionel Browning officiating. Burial followed in the Elmer Cline Cemetery at Right Hand Fork, Baisden.

Pallbearers were: David Blankenship, Kendall Osborne, Justin Salmons, John Jude, Anthony Jude, Davy Cline, Brandon Vinson, Gregory Dotson, and J. R. Lilly. Honorary pallbearers were: Hubert Justice, Charles Cline, and Ricky Cline.






Marie (Holbrook) Cline

Marie (Holbrook) Cline 86 of Gilbert, went up the heavenly staircase to be with Jesus on Saturday, March 15, 2008 from Crest View Manor Nursing Home in Lancaster OH.

Born on March 4, 1922 at Salyersville KY, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Ressie (Arnett) Holbrook.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bert Mason Cline; two sons: Donald and Danny Ross Cline; one granddaughter, Keisha Cline Hatfield; three brothers and three sisters.

Marie was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Marie are: her daughter, Barbara (David) Ward of Gilbert; her two sons: Terry (Judy) Cline of Lancaster OH, and Doyle (Pinky) Cline of Varney; her two sisters: Opal Christine Jeffers of Dayton OH, and Janet Holbrook of Salyersville KY; her grandchildren: Jeanette (Andy) Toler, Ashley Cline (fiancé Jeff Dotson), Trevor Cline, Lena (Barry) Shandor, Jason Cline, Tony Cline, Amanda Cline, Ashley Blankenship, and Charlene & Christina Ross; her great grandchildren: Gabrielle Toler, Mason & Corey Cline, Peyton Blankenship, and Kierra and Michaela Shandor; and a host of family and friends.

Burial followed in the Oak Log Cemetery at Baisden.

Jamie Lee Cline

Jamie Lee Cline 31 of Coal Mountain, departed this life on Friday, April 4, 2008, at his residence.

Born August 24, 1976 at Man, he was the son of Velma (Toler) Cline and the late Olen Cline.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by: his grandparents: Patrick and Anthymae Cline, and Buddy Toler; and one brother-in-law, Danny Kennedy.

Jamie was a logger and of the Baptist Faith.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Jamie are: his mother, Velma Cline; his son, Hunter Cline; his daughter, Mackenzie Cline; his brother, Ronald (Katrina) Cline; all of Coal Mountain; his three sisters: Sherry Kennedy and Diana (Mark) Hatfield, both of Coal Mountain, and Amanda (Chester) Bartley of Pikeville KY; his grandmother, Marie Toler of Rockhouse; a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and friends; and special friends who will also serve as pallbearers: Brian Hatfield, Michael “Skillet” Morgan, B.J. Kennedy, and Michael “Pebo” Browning.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 8th at the Coal Mountain Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. James Ellis officiating. Burial followed in the Hatfield Cemetery at Coal Mountain.





George (Jay) Cline

George (Jay) Cline, 79, of Mohawk, WV passed away Friday, May 16, 2008 at his home following a brief illness.

He was born June 16, 1928 to the late Bob and Margaret Cline.

Mr. Cline was a retired coal miner and a member of the Mt. Zion Old Regular Baptist Church. He was a wonderful husband, loving father and a special grandfather. He leaves behind a host of family and friends to mourn for him.

He was preceded in death by a special son-in-law, Allen Petrunger of Princeton, WV. Also preceding him in death were two sisters, Florence Lester and Berchie Branch, and four brothers, Clyde, Harold, Wendell and Butler Cline.

Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Naomi Cline, four daughters, Diana Petrunger of Princeton, Kathy Hunt and husband Charles of Mohawk, Shelba Dotson and husband Michael of Falls Mills, VA and Angela Thornsbury and husband Kerry of Princeton. Seven grandchildren, Ryan Hunt and wife Sharon, Todd Petrunger and wife Leah, Chad Hunt and wife Crystal, Joshua Petrunger and wife Candice, Courtney and Ashleigh Dotson and Hannah Thornsbury.

Survivors also include one sister, Betty Cline of Peterstown, and four brothers, Lawrence Cline of Panther, Gordon Cline of Tazewell, VA and Rex Cline and Darrell Cline of Mohawk.

Pallbearers will be sons-in-law and grandsons.

Friends may call at the Mt. Zion Old Regular Baptist Church Monday and Tuesday evening after 6 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 o’clock.

Elders called are Kermit Lester, John R. Justice, Hershel Hurley, Arthur Short, Zeb Justice, Hobert Hamilton, Phillip Estep and Harrison Runyeon.




Kennis P. Cline

Kennis P. Cline 80 of Hanover went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, May 22, 2008 from his residence.

Born on September 23, 1927, he was the son of the late Edd and Corby (Justice) Cline.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: one brother, Woodrow Cline and five sisters: Evalene Hatfield, Armedia Vinson, Elizabeth Thompson, Roxie Huff, and Hattie Mitchell.

Kennis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a retired timber man, farmer, and a member of the Rockhouse Community Church.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Kennis are: his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara G. (Walls) Cline of Hanover; his two daughters: Aretta (Frank) England of Hanover, and Vanessa (Cortney) Rasnick of Justice; his two granddaughters: Kimberly (Kelly Jack) Smith of Justice and Kelly Ann (Jeremy) Steele of Logan; his two great grandsons: Aidan Jeremy and Zackery Steele of Logan; and a host of family and friends.

Arthur J. Cline

Arthur J. Cline 60 of Horsepen, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, July 14, 2008, from Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born on February 10, 1948 at Wharncliffe, he was the son of Alta Faye (Moore) Cline and the late Walter “Teets” Cline.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a special cousin, Lucky Compton.

Arthur was a retired coal miner from Black Hawk Resources, he also loved dirt track racing, motorcycle riding and spending time with his family, he also attended the Browning Fork House of Faith Church.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Arthur is his loving wife Bonnie Cline of Horsepen, his mother; Alta Faye (Moore) Cline of Wharncliffe, his three sons; Walter (Gwen) Cline of Wharncliffe, Larry “Homey” (Amber) Cline of Wharncliffe, A.J. (Whittney) Cline of Varney, his four sisters; Wanda (Dennis) Lester of Gilbert Creek, Sheila (Allen) Rose of Prestonsburg KY, Trish Cline of Wharncliffe, Barbara Cline of Nashville, TN, one brother Larry Cline of Wharncliffe, his five grand-children; Kirk, Makala, Dustin, Jasmyne and Jacob Cline, and his special dog “Killer”.

Arthur had three very special friends, Eddie Chapman, David Owens, and Kendall Simpson.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 am, Thursday July 17, 2008 at the Freedom Full Gospel Assembly House of Prayer with the Rev. Diamond Carter and Rev. Lowell Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Beech Fork Cemetery at Wharncliffe.

Pallbearers were Heath Bradford, James Blevins, Gary Wayne Blankenship, J.D. Lively, Anthony Cline, David Owens, Robert Fowler, Phillip May, Barry Ellis, Carl Cohenour and Roy Grimmett.

Pearl Blankenship Cline

Pearl Cline 84, of Baisden went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Monday, August 4th, 2008.

She was born on December 27, 1923 to the late Troy and Rosa (Hatfield) Blankenship.

Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, Branson Cline, her son; Billy Branson Cline, her Daughters; Shirley Faye Perry, Mary Rose Cline and Lara Cline, her brothers; John and Clinton Blankenship, sisters; Laudie Lester, Ida Cline and Lydia Blankenship.

Pearl was a member of the Full Gospel Church of God at Baisden, WV

She is survived by her daughter, Norma Jean Hall of Baisden, her son; Scotty (Linda) Cline of Baisden, her sisters Dale Glandon and Nina (Dexter) Cline of Baisden and Hettie Huff of Mount Hope, her brothers; Junior (Causby), Delmer (Shirley) Blankenship of Baisden, Drewey (JoAnn) Blankenship of Hampden, Rayburn (Betty) Blankenship of Pigeon Creek and Delmer (Debbie) Blankenship Jr. of Horsepen, 4 grand-children, 5 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 6th, 2008 at 1:00 pm with the Rev Jonas Trent, Rev Diamond Carter, and Rev. Lowell Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Glandon Cemetery at Baisden.

Mona Vivian Cline and Johnie Floyd Cline

Mona Vivian Cline, 75, of Baisden, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Paulette and Johnny Cline, in Dandridge TN, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on August 29, 1932 at War Eagle to the late Melvin and Polly (Scarberry) Cline.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Elder Johnie F. Cline; two sons: Johnie Cline, Jr. and Larry Thomas Cline; two great grandchildren: Tristan VanNatter and Tiara Jade Stacy; her five brothers: Monroe, Melvin, Tommy, Bryan, and Floyd Cline; her eight sisters: Elzada, Alta and Mandy Cline, Maude Barker, Rachel Gravely, Ida Wickline, Margie Altizer, and Francis Walls.

Mona was a homemaker and a member of the Rosa Old Regular Baptist Church at Baisden for 38 years. She was a faithful and dedicated member of the church.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Mona are: her four daughters: Paulette (Johnny) Cline of Dandridge TN, Karen (Rodney) Velez of Naples FL, Cherie (Rex) Grubb of Baisden, and Kim Buchanan of Gilbert; her two sons: Lanny (Zina) Cline of Hinton and Leslie (Rosa) Cline of Dandridge TN; her 14 grandchildren; her 20 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. Mona will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, August 17th at the Rosa Old Regular Baptist Church with the Elder Hobart Hamilton, Elder Richard Staton, Elder Gary Young, and the Elder Ivan Blankenship officiating. Burial followed in the Johnie F. Cline Family Cemetery at Baisden. Grandsons served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were: Charles Testerman, Charles Paynter, David Houseman, Ivan Blankenship, Freddy Cline, and Frank Reyes.






Troy Michael Cline

Troy Michael Cline, 47 of Cross Lanes, WV departed this life August 24, 2008.

Born on November 27, 1960 at Iaeger, he was the son of Virginia Cline and the late Rutherford Cline.

Troy was a good hearted man, loved by his family and friends, he was a dedicated son, father, brother, uncle, and worker. Troy enjoyed the outdoors and taking care of the animals that he encountered. He was an auditor for an accounting firm, and of the Church of God faith.

Troy was preceded in death by his father, Rutherford Cline; and two brothers: Ronnie and Donnie Cline.

Survivors include his mother: Virginia Cline of Delbarton, formerly of Wharncliffe; his son, Troy Michael “T.J.” Cline Jr. and his fiancee April Adams of Ashville, Ohio; his three sisters: Lareine (Dale) Dingess of Wharncliffe, Barbie (Albert) Grimmett of Hampden, and Sarah (Richard) Hall of Delbarton; his three brothers: Ricky (Dawn) Cline of Wharncliffe, Rutherford (Jane) Cline of New Holland PA, and Rev. Billie (Sandra) Cline of St. Albans; his ex-wife Josephine “Jo” Compton of Ashville OH; and a host of family and friends.

Troy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Darrell Cline, 59, of Baisden, departed this life on Sunday, September 21, 2008, at Williamson Memorial Hospital in Williamson.

Born on December 28, 1948, at Baisden, he was the beloved son of the late John A. and Ernie P. (Cline) Cline.

Darrell was a retired coal truck driver and of the Baptist Faith. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Darrell are: his four sisters: Helen Lester of Baisden, Phyllis Hatfield of Justice, Karen (Eddie) Grimmett of Hampden, and Pandora (Randall) Lester of Baisden; his special nephew, Robert “Kimbo” Lester of Baisden; and a host of other dear family members and friends.

Jean Madelene Cline, 53, of Wharncliffe, departed this life on Monday, October 6, 2008, at Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan.

Born on November 24, 1954, at Welch, she was the loving daughter of the late Dave and Marybell (Ellis) Lester.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her brother, Bobby Davis; her grandson, Travis Cline; and a special friend, Linda Lester.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend.

Ranice Dale Cline, 55, of Justice, departed this life on Tuesday, October 14, 2008.

Born on September 20, 1953, at Justice, he was the beloved son of the late Albert P. and Mary H. (Browning) Cline.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: four sisters: Mary Spratt, Janice Toler, Helen Cline, and Corine Cline; and three brothers: Konnie, Wonnie, and Winston Cline.

Ranice was disabled and of the Pentecostal faith.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Ranice are: his three brothers: Tommy (Geneva) Cline of Verner, David (Shirley) Cline of Bluefield, and Albert (Brenda) Cline, Jr., of Amherstdale; his three sisters: Josephine (Ronnie) Blankenship of High Point NC, Zelda (Kennis) Justice of Justice, and Crystal Shannon of Bluefield; and a host of other dear family and friends.

Patty Marie Warrix Cline Bishop

Patty Marie Warrix Cline Bishop, 81, of Ikes Fork, went home to be with the Lord, on Sunday, October 19, 2008, from Welch Community Hospital at Welch.

Born on February 21, 1927, at Iaeger, she was the beloved daughter of the late Alex and Margaret (Lester) Warrix.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her husbands: Aldie Cline and Lacy Bishop; her children: Okie Dean, Roy Rondle, Georgia Belcher, Lacine Lester, and Alex (Pedro) Cline; her sisters: Vivian and Audrey Lester; and her brothers: Preston, John, James, Gary, and Doug Warrix.

Marie was a wonderful and loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great and great great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She loved cooking, camping, and going to church and being with her family. She was owner and operator of the Pioneer Restaurant, The Gidget, and Marie’s Dinette. She will be remembered for the fine food that was served at the restaurants she owned and operated, where no one every left hungry. She was a member of the Church of Zion at Ikes Fork. She was a true warrior for the Lord and had been saved for 64 years.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Marie are: her loving children: Margaret Lester of Baisden, Judy (Bill) Hammitt of Welch, Imogene (Jason) Lester of Baisden, Kathryn (Raymond) Bowels of Williamsburg VA, Oley (Ruth) Bishop of Iaeger, Ed (Jean) Bishop of Manchester GA, Kathy (Danny) Baize of Varney, Lacy (Elaine) Bishop, Jr., of Baileysville, and Nanna (Charles) Stewart of Baileysville; her daughters-in-law: Etta Jean Bishop of Steels, Debbie Cline of Princeton, and Julie Cline of Ikes Fork; her caregiver, Retha Blankenship, her three sisters: Ethelene Roberts of Brenton, Truby Whitt of Ikes Fork, and Hulda Oyler of Ikes Fork; her three brothers: Bob Warrix of Martinsville IN, Ronnie “Bubba” Warrix and Jerry Warrix both of Ikes Fork; her 32 grandchildren; her several great and great great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Friends called at the Church of Zion at Ikes Fork on Wednesday, October 22nd after 6:00 pm.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 23rd at the Church of Zion with the Rev. James Cline, Rev. Elzie Blankenship, and the Rev. Jonas Trent officiating. Burial followed in the Paris Lester Cemetery at Ikes Fork. Pallbearers were: Peter and Patrick Cline, Brian, Steve, and Denny Lester, and Steven Daugherty.

Karen Lou (Cline) Hatfield, 46, of Omar, departed this life on Sunday, November 23, 2008 at her residence.

Born on July 31, 1962, at Pineville, she was the beloved daughter of Ophelia (Hatfield) Harper and the late Wonnie Cline.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by one sister, Elaine Keaton.

Karen was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a homemaker and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Karen are: her mother, Ophelia (Hatfield) Harper of Simon; her daughter, Cassie Hatfield of Simon; her son, Brandon Hatfield of Omar; her step-daughter, Crystal (Carlos) Christian of Gilbert; her step-son, Turley Hatfield of Gilbert; her brother, Wonnie “Sam” (Jennifer) Cline of Fancy Gap VA; her sister Crystal (Jerry) Preston of Louisa KY; her four grandchildren: Haley, Hannah, Heather, and Hope Christian; her three special nieces: Cheyanne Glasscock, and Kaitlyn and Alyssa Preston; and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends called at the Long Branch Freewill Baptist Church at Simon on Thursday and Friday, November 27th and 28th from 6 to 11 pm each evening.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 29th at the Long Branch Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Morgan and the Rev. Jay Blankenship officiating. Burial followed in the Toler Cemetery at Simon.

Family and friends served as pallbearers.

Ernest Lee “T” Cline, 48, of Baisden, departed this life on Sunday, December 21, 2008, at his residence.

Born on November 25, 1960, at Welch, he was the beloved son on Lucille (New) Cline and the late Willie Jean Cline.

T was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a retired coal miner and of the Church of God Faith. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of T are: his loving mother, Lucille Cline of Gilbert; his beloved son, Josh Cline of Gilbert; his loving daughter, Natasha Cline of Gilbert; his precious granddaughter, Mallory Cline of Gilbert; his two sisters: Beulah (Kent) Bishop of Hanover and Imagene (Roger) Browning of Bristol VA; his two brothers: Terry (Phoebe) Cline, Jr., of Gilbert, and Eugene (Beverly) Cline of Wharncliffe; and a host of other dear family and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 23rd with the Rev. Danny Ward and the Rev. Carl “Cab” Wolford officiating.

Burial will follow in the Cline Cemetery at Spring Fork, Wharncliffe.

Barbara E. Cline, 78, of Hanover, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, December 28, 2008, from Welch Emergency Hospital in Welch.

Born on April 12, 1930, at Iaeger, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Stella (Cline) Trent.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Denver “Pete” Cline; and two brothers: Carl (Pat) Trent and Jack (Thelma) Trent.

Barbara was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Burial followed in the Trent Cemetery at Long Pole.

Bradley Keaster Cline, 60, of Iaeger, departed this life on Friday, January 16, 2009, at Princeton Community Hospital at Princeton.

Born at Mohawk on May 3, 1948, he was the son of Lawrence and Helen G. (Coleman) Cline of Panther.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Herman Eugene Cline and one sister, Margaret Rose Cline.

Keaster was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a disabled coal miner and of the Freewill Baptist Faith. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 20th at the church with the Rev. Willie Coleman, Rev. Delbert Hurley, and the Rev. Hassell Riffe officiating. Burial followed in the Lawrence Cline Cemetery at Panther. He was carried to his final resting place by family and friends.

GILBERT — Florence Cline Lester, 87, of HC-72, Box 107, Gilbert, WV 2562 1, departed this world for a better home with her Heavenly Father on Frida y, Jan. 12, 2007, at Logan Regional Medical Center, Logan.

Born Dec. 23, 1919 in Mohawk, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Ma rgaret Cline. She was a homemaker and a member of The Morning Star Regul ar Baptist Church in Long Pole. She also attended the Horsepen Baptist Chu rch of Gilbert where she was a member of the Ladies Adult Sunday School Cl ass and the WMU.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Wheeler Leste r, in July 1999; two brothers, Harold and Clyde Cline; sister, Berchie Bra nch Reynolds; daughter-in-law, Anna Lester; son-in-law, Truman Roberts; a nd grandson, Terry Lester.

Survivors include one son, Benny Lester of Winston-Salem, N.C.; four daugh ters, Mrs. Denver (Phyllis) Stacy of Gilbert, Ms. Maladean Roberts of Blue field, Mrs. Ralph (Rita) Trent of Gilbert, and Mrs. Carlo (Patsy) Gentilet ti of Bridgeton, N.J.; nine grandchildren, Mr. Denver Dale (Lori) Stacy, M rs.
